Griffith’s spritely portrayal sets a standard that will be hard for anyone to match. Bounding gracefully, she captured the character of Oberon’s servant that tickled the audience until in the final scene, when she changed the mood with her melodic opera voice and violin that brought the house to tears of joy.

Joni Griffith is a performing member of Minneapolis theatre companies Mixed Precipitation and Combustible Company (Margolis Method), helping to create and devise original works performing throughout greater Minnesota and Wisconsin.

She has worked as the vocal director for Saint Anthony Village High School since 2019. Directing credits include The Addams Family, War of the Worlds (a virtual video production), 97.3 Mainstream R&M (a student-devised radio show), High School Musical, and The Mystery of Edwin Drood.
